Flow
Calibration Lab
|
|
| We
maintain three NIST traceable primary liquid
flow calibration
systems utilizing water as a medium.
These 0.1% uncertainty gravimetric water systems are designed
in accordance with the standard ASME/ANSI MFC-9M-1988,
Measurement of Liquid Flow in Closed Conduits by Weighing
Method. These three systems cover overlapping ranges so that
they may be checked against each other. Flow rates up to 100
gpm at pressures up to 1000 psig may be achieved. This
allows for the precise calibration of standard liquid flow
meters as well as high pressure venturies, orifices, and other
critical devices.
We also
maintain five NIST
traceable primary gas
flow calibration systems, all of which achieve
uncertainties in the 0.2% reading range. Each system can
utilize air, nitrogen, helium and other custom non-explosive
mixtures. These five systems cover overlapping ranges so that
they may be checked against one another. In addition, each
system contains dual primary standards. The dual primary
standards chosen for each system are different types so that
they cannot contain the same systematic errors. This
multiple-standards approach provides great assurance of the
accuracy of the absolute flow measurement. Flow rates up to
100 scfm at pressures up to 1000 psi may be achieved. This
allows for precise calibration of sonic nozzles, venturies and
orifices. Graftel
is now ISO 17025 accredited in gas flow calibration. |
Temperature
Calibration Lab
|
|
| Graftel
has the capabilities for performing temperature calibrations
on almost any type of temperature measurement or control
instrument. Platinum PRT's calibrated against NIST primary
cells are used as our primary standards. Calibration accuracy
as tight as 0.05°C may be performed. Graftel
is now ISO 17025 in Temperature Calibration. |
Pressure
Calibration Lab
|
|
| Graftel
maintains basic capabilities for the calibration of absolute,
differential and gage pressure devices. Our secondary
standards are maintained at 0.01% accuracy. |
Humidity
Calibration Lab
|
|
| Graftel
has 10 years of experience in the design, fabrication, and
application and calibration of humidity instrumentation. We
have the capability to calibrate all types and sizes of
humidity instrumentation. Our chambers can control and measure
humidity, pressure and temperature simultaneously.
Calibrations may be performed using air, nitrogen, helium, or
custom non-explosive/nontoxic gases. Graftel
is now ISO 17025 in Humidity/Dewpoint Calibration. |
ISO
17025 Calibration Lab Source
|
| Graftel
has passed our ISO 17025 audit for the fields of Gas flow
calibration and Temperature calibration. By passing the audit,
we can now offer ISO 17025 Calibrations at a fraction of the
cost of sending your units to the manufacturer. Please

Nuclear
Power Services
|
|
| Graftel's
nuclear power services are designed to maximize program
efficiencies while maintaining a strong regulatory basis.
Along with our custom equipment, we also offer Appendix J
Program reviews. Graftel manufactures one of the industry standards for Local
Leakage Rate Testing, the model
9623. |
Appendix
J/ISI/IST Micro-consulting Services
|
| Graftel
is offering a service to review which components need to be
tested, how they are tested and the acceptance criterion used
to determine the acceptance criterion both on an As Left and
on a performance basis. We also are introducing a
micro-consultancy service for appendix j ISI/IST professionals
looking to have changes made to their standard programs. |
